Happy Hump Day! I let you guys know last week that I would be working over the weekend on some tweaks to this site and the content, and I don’t think I disappointed! So let this be the first post to welcome you to Wellness Done Write. I noticed that in my posts on here and on Instagram, they were centering on health and wellness rather than the general lifestyle topics I had originally set out to cover. I’ve always had a passion for health and wellness, and this year a majority of my resolutions are focused on actually accomplishing my health and fitness goals (eating less processed foods, running a half marathon, etc). It hasn’t been an easy journey so far, but I am excited to share my progress moving forward and to discuss topics that I am researching and learning about. I follow several fitness and health gurus and while I always like their posts on various social media platforms and often look to them for positive encouragement, I think it’s also important to talk about the real struggles along the health and wellness journey, so that’s exactly what I plan to do.
I would also like to add that I am in no way an expert on this stuff. I’m just sharing what works for me (because maybe it will work for someone else too!) and what I’ve been learning about. I appreciate you sticking along with me while I’m figuring out this blogging thing, and I’m so excited to see where this takes us!
